What is your position?

I am a CSR- Customer Service Representative

How long have you worked for Harbor Brenn:

I started in March of 2014 – so almost three years.

How long have you worked in the insurance industry?

I started in insurance in 2006. At one point I used to own my own insurance agency downstate.

What is your favorite part about your position in our company?

I love being able to help the insureds that I work with. Also I love that I can bring my dog to work with me!

What organizations are you a part of both professionally and personally?

Professionally I am an alumnus of LLT (Class of 2015!!); currently I am Co-Chair of the Instant Wine Cellar for United Way and have been a committee member previously. I am also on a Monday night Ski team at Nubs Nob.

What do you do in your free time/ hobbies?

Spending time with my family and friends is important to me too along with my dog Cali. In the winter time I love to downhill ski and snowshoe when possible. I also enjoy boating, swimming, being outside or just overall enjoying all the seasons up here.

As for hobbies I love to be creative, decorate and travel! Though right now my husband just opened the Waffle Cabin at Boyne Mountain, so that is where you can find me most in my “free time” right now.

Do you have kids, pets, married?

I just got married this past July to Emerson Meyer. We were engaged at Nubs Nob on our favorite ski run and then married the next summer in Midland where I am from. We don’t have any kids yet, though I do consider our dog Cali our “child”. Cali is a 5 year old Golden Retriever English Cream. She can be found most days at work with me sleeping the day away. We also have a couple nieces and nephews who we love with another on the way next month, which we are very excited about!

What city do you live in?

I live in Petoskey now, but was born and raised in Midland, MI and summered in Charlevoix.

What is your favorite thing to do in Northern MI?

This one is hard; there are so many fun things to here! I really do love skiing and just enjoying each season.

What is your favorite season in Northern Michigan?

I love them all, I find that you really have to appreciate each one. Though if I have to pick, Summer!!
