For 100 years, Harbor Brenn Insurance Agencies has proudly partnered with Auto-Owners Insurance, a collaboration the Petoskey agency is celebrating this month.
Harbor Brenn president Ashley DeCarteret said Auto-Owners Insurance is a highly respected entity with an A++ rating by AM Best Company, operating in 26 states and providing property, casualty, and life insurance through over 4,800 licensed agents.

Founded by Bill Brower and now guided by DeCarteret, Harbor Brenn Insurance Agencies has nurtured a prosperous relationship with Auto-Owners Insurance since Brower became a licensed agent in 1972, she recalled. Although the name “Harbor Brenn” has been in use since 1985, the lineage of partnerships with agencies that preceded it reaches back a century.
