I started writing insurance for businesses in 1982 in the Grand Rapids, MI area. An opportunity to move to Northern Michigan came in 1992, at that time, the family was very young, so we decided to move to Petoskey and live where we vacationed frequently. After working with a direct writing insurance company for many years, I had the opportunity to join the Harbor Brenn Insurance Agencies team in 2003. Harbor Brenn Insurance Agencies gave me the advantage to offer to my business insurance customers a wide variety of excellent insurance companies that provide specific insurance coverage and competitive rates for all kinds and types of businesses. Today I have business insurance customers all over Northern Michigan and south to near Grand Rapids.

My wife Shelly and I were married in 1982, and we have raised two boys. Nicholas is a graduate of Michigan Tech University and is a mechanical engineer and lives in Northern Michigan. Michael is a graduate of Northern Michigan University and is a licensed builder and lives in Northern Michigan. Shelly is a licensed real estate broker and is a dental office practice manager. Shelly and I enjoy boating on the many fantastic Northern Michigan lakes and all outdoor activities that Northern Michigan offers. We have a cottage on a large lake in the Western Upper Peninsula that we spend time at year-round.
