Hi! I’m Ashley.

I started at Harbor Brenn while still in middle school. I would come over to my dad’s office (back then on Waukazoo St in Petoskey) and help answer phones & file papers. I officially joined Harbor Brenn in May of 1998 as a personal lines service agent and have worked my way up since becoming president of the corporation in 2016.

As president, I have the great fortune of working with an amazing group of people. I’m incredibly proud of the team we have here at Harbor Brenn and am always looking for opportunities to expand our group. I graduated from Smith College in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and completed my MBA in 2013. When I came home after graduation, I was offered a full-time job here at the agency when another co-worker decided to be a stay-at-home mom.

I am a Certified Insurance Counselor https://www.scic.com/what-it-means-cic/ (CIC) and licensed for both Property/Casualty as well as Life/Health. I am also committed to serving the northern Michigan area and am personally involved with organizations such as the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Petoskey, YMCA of Northern Michigan, and Connecting Women in Business, while also supporting many more through agency involvement and participation.

When not at work, I love to travel, bike and read. I’m always looking for good book recommendations, and if you have a few minutes to spend, I’m always happy to share my ideas!
